don't install HP Wireless Assistant if you need it to configure wireless AP, use the NEW HP Network Assistant
don't install HP Wireless Assistant if you need it to configure wireless AP. because it will not do that work for you.
what it can do that i found from the help file is:
● Turn Bluetooth® On
● Turn Bluetooth® Off
● Turn WLAN On
● Turn WLAN Off
● Turn WWAN On
● Turn WWAN Off
● Turn On All Devices
● Turn Off All Devices
and check device status
i was looking for a wireless ap setting management tool because vista wireless tool is not as confortable as xp has. but HP Wireless Assistant does not meet my needs.
untill installed and rebooted as it requires i found out that is it for, so that i deleted it immediately. it can be downloaded from here:

there is NEW HP Network Assistant avaliable from hp, only the New one can do configuration.
