an example of faluire implementation of ERP in China

this is a traditional common Chinese company. it can be classified to heavy industry - manufacturer. where has about 500 staffs.
the fonder of the company still in charge when they had the plan to deploy it. he has great ambition that try to make the company large. employ lot of people. the sales manager is very good at drinking wine.
so they tried. fond a compnay in the downtown then deployed one, payed what they should.
the implementation is carried on smoothly for several months.
but there was problem. the ERP ware wasn't be able to implement it into the entire company, somewhere stuck. yes people use it, but not in ideal condition. the workload has increased. there is no trend that it would be reduced.
6 months later the implementation is still going on, detailed plans for each department are keeping printed but people tired.
after 1 year, they gave it up, the ERP ware left on the computer but nobody touch it anymore.

something we can lean and should be avoid from this case:
1. the ERP provider and ERP ware was not reliable enough
2. the team has no enough power
3. the support was not desirable
4. some department are rejecting of their own purpose
