this is a record of how i installed Kingdee K3 on a server.
step1. prepare the server.
Harddidk Raid 1
Partition: drive C 75 G drive D 40G
OS Windows 2003 installed on Drive C. as a application server.
install all windows patchs, disable auto update(manual update).
install MS SQL 2005 stardard.
update ms sql 2005.

step2. install K3 data service
click the setup.exe on the first, click 'enviroment check' then select 'Data Service' then check and install dependend components.

click 'install Kingdee K/3'
select '03.database service' follow instuctrions.
reboot server.

step3. install the intemediate layer
click setup.exe -> install Kingdee K/3 -> 02. intermediate layer service, follow instructions
reboot the server.

step4. restore the data.
click the 'account manager' in start menu-> K3 -> intemediate layer, login,
click 'database' -> 'restore database', restore the data.

step5. configure backup
configure auto backup in the 'account manager', install ArcServer agent, setup backup to the tape.
server installation done.

install Kingdee K3 client
run setup.exe then click enviroment check, install necessary components.
click 'install Kingdee K/3' select '01.client' then follow the instructions.
after install complete, config client connect to server by fill server ip in 'remote component configuration' tool.
