one of my coworker had tried to make a MSI package for the most popular Chinese input software Sogou Input 3.0. but he was failed, the msi package that he build could not work.

today i installed a new dell computer with clean XP os, and tried to build a Sogou Input 3.0 MSI package. i build one which can't work too. After i publish it to the Active Directory for it to be available to common user. the user can install it without error, but the problem is the key stroke can not call up the input software.

Annalise the sogou_pinyin_3f.exe file, i found several exe file inside it, there was some registry key missing after conver the .exe to .msi from my point of view.

not me but many IT department in China need the MSI package to publish in the AD, but there was no MSI for Sogou Input available.

Microsoft release MSPY 2003 and 2007 in MSI package, and its easy to build a MSI for WangMa WuBi input. while Sogou Input is not in the case.
