Yesterday i went to a company that produce metal materials and componet for big machines.
It was a private native China company that located in rural area near downtown. which can represent the most typical Chinese native company. it was middle sized. but lack of new technology equipted.

in this company i can see something is missing as a middle sized manufacturing company.

1. the computer brand are varies, many are DIYed ones. this means heaving maintenance and low stability to me.
2. lack of management software, yet they are interested in the ERP that made in China and willing to deploy, but seems expecting too much from it.
3. no production assisted system. it is not a must, but from my point of it can enhance productivity to some extend in a manufacturing company.
4. no quality controlling system. they don't have a circle procedure to improve the product quality.
5. it has no website.
6.warehouse and logistic? they work it on some excel sheet. the staffs work there seems enjoy it.

although it sees a little straggled compare to those foreign invested company but it operating in a good condition.

Oops, Chinese can always operate a company well without new means equipped.
