this software is not big , but the installation procedure is very complicated.
first you need have a computer, windows 2000 os and the AP100Install-CD

Now we are using the AP100 Ver3.02sp1 version. Windows2000 must be installed in the system.other os such as xp will not work.
new version Ver3.4 can be installed in windows xp, and the new dongle license methods makes the license hardware independent so that you can change the computer hardware.

1.disks: Create 3 hard disks partition, install system on drive c, data on drive d, other backup file on drive e.
(Currently considered to be more scientific methods Division)

2. install Windows2000 pro and install all patches
(Ap100 request is win2ksp2, but taking into account security issues we tested sp4+rollup1 also work)

3. Computer name changes
This step is very important and must be installed prior to the beginning ap100 after programming the computer name can not be changed or you lost all your previous programming work, this caused by ap100 take the computer name as part of its db path.
If it is moving programming database from one computer to another,the computer name have to be same as the computer wich has original database.

4. Configured IP LAN, network protocols should have net BEUI installed.
DHCP can be used but Net BEUI must be installed.

5. Start the installation AP100. Concrete steps to see the installation CD-ROM.
Installation Notes: must be carefully read installation instructions, and sometimes there will be install.exe, setup.exe exe files in the directory,you must run the specific exe file that discribed in the install manual
also suggested that to restart the computer at end of each installation step.
SQL patches can be installed using the latest sp4 rather than the sp3 stated in the install manual.

6. transfer/back program from one computer to another, you can copy program one by one by using a floppy disk to another computer, this is computer hardware/name independent.

installation step at a glance:
1. install windows 2000 with default options+net BEUI protocol for the network card.
2. install windows 2000 sp2(sp4+roll-up pack also works).
3. install IE5.5 with default options( this can be found on the ap100 install disk)
4. configure network card(add Net BEUI Protocol)
5. install CAB DB (Ver3.02sp1\CamDB\install.exe)
6. install MSDE (ver3.02sp1\Msdb\setup.exe)
7. install sql server 7 sp3 (OSTool for Ver3.01\SQL70SP3\setup.bat)
8. install AP100
9. setup AP100 user enviroment and license
10. done.
